About the Product

girls-shirtsPaniolos originally wore a “Palaka” shirt made from heavy fabric imported from England. The pattern was a criss-cross style, like a tablecloth.

The current local Paniolos (Cowboys) on the Hawaiian Islands, wear “western shirts” and sometimes have custom made shirts made with floral prints as an accent to the basic cowboy shirt, floral patterns being sewn in-to the yolk, shirt pockets and sometimes cuff areas as well.

These shirts are made with “island style” printed fabrics, and I have always wanted to make my own shirts as there are so many beautiful styles and colors available.
